About Us

L & A Cleaning Services is a locally owned and operated cleaning company. For more than 15 years, we’ve been providing cleaning solutions to residential houses and small offices. These include the offices of lawyers, accountants, doctors, and dentists, as well as spas. We’re fully licensed, insured, and bonded.

We serve clients in Green Brook, Watchung, Warren, Basking Ridge, Martinsville, Berkeley Heights, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Westfield, Gillette, New Providence, Bridgewater, and Mountainside, NJ.

What You Can Expect

Time of Service and Schedule Updates

  • We provide you with a set time for the service, with a 1 to 2-hour variance to allow for traffic and road conditions.
  • We inform you of our cleaning techs vacation dates and any schedule changes as communication with our clients is very important to us.

Security and Confidentiality

  • We don’t let other people into your home, such as contractors, plumbers, and so forth.
  • We don’t access your phone or answering machine.
  • We don’t exchange keys or codes with anyone other than you as our contracted client.
  • We don’t sell or share your residential address, email address, name, or telephone number with any other company/organization.

Health and Safety Practices

  • We don’t use any chemical cleaning products not specified.
  • We don’t perform cleaning on bare feet.
  • We don’t climb over 3 feet tall ladders.
  • We work with superior vacuum cleaners that are equipped with HEPA filters and seals to prevent any contamination.

Responsibilities and Other Tasks

  • We complete all services described in the home plan.
  • We don’t provide service to households during the times when the house is occupied by unsupervised children or teenagers.
  • We don’t operate washing machines, dryers, stoves, trash compactors, or other electric, gas, or kerosene appliances.
  • We don’t move heavy objects, such as beds, sofas, or wood shelves, to clean.

Cleaning Products

Cleaning products are necessary to achieve a high-quality cleaning. At the time of the in-home estimate, L & A will suggest the best cleaning product according to your needs or will include in the price our high-quality non-toxic, odorless, and PH-neutral product.

Hours of Operation

We generally provide services between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, you can reach our voicemail or send emails at any time. When calling or emailing reservations, always wait for a confirmation.

We observe the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Day.

Cancellations and Vacations

Having unique services and an excellent reputation, our schedules fill up rapidly; therefore, we work by rotation and routes. We assign a cleaning date and time to our clients to provide a better service. However, there may be times when you need to cancel or request changes to your service. Adjustments requested for over 30 days may result in an additional fee. This is due to the extra time involved in getting the house back to cleaning standards.

Any cancellations should be made with at least a 24-hour notice. If there is no notice in advance, a fee of $50 will be charged.
